Firebox® X Edge is a firewall and VPN endpoint solution providing powerful protection for small businesses, remote offices, and telecommuters. It comes in three models, each in a wired and wireless version, that are secure, reliable, and easy to use - even for those with limited networking experience. And with its unique model upgrade capability, a Firebox X Edge will adapt to handle all your security needs, now and in the future.

All Firebox® X Edge models work perfectly with the Firebox X Core™ and Firebox X Peak™ lines of integrated firewall/VPN appliances to provide complete security for your geographically distributed organization. It keeps you in control of your security and VPNs at all of your locations.

Wired Models
Firebox X50 Remote Office VPN Endpoint or Small Business Security Solution	For remote offices/small businesses with more than 30 users and/or the need for WAN failover. Includes best-in-class performance firewall and VPN capabilities with optional Web content filtering and an intuitive Web-based management.
Firebox X15 Small Remote Office VPN Endpoint	For remote offices/small businesses with up to 30 users who require branch office VPN endpoint connectivity to a central office running a Firebox X Core or Peak.
Firebox X5 Telecommuter VPN Endpoint	For telecommuters who require an easy-to-deploy firewall/VPN solution that easily connects to the central office with best-in-class performance, and separate work/home network on the same appliance. Up to 12 users.
Wireless Models
Each Firebox X Edge Wireless model includes all the capabilities of the comparable wired model plus an 802.11b/g wireless access point (WAP) for connecting wireless users on your network. Wireless connections can be protected using the integrated WEP, WPA capabilities or IPsec clients included with the appliance.

Full Model and Service Upgradeability
Each Firebox X Edge is model upgradeable, which means you can upgrade your existing Firebox® X Edge appliance to any higher model in the line simply by applying a license key. You can adapt and expand your Firebox X Edge to meet the constantly changing needs of your fast-growing business.

• Model Upgrades

Upgrade from an X5/X5w or X15/X15w to any higher model in the line. Upgrades include increased user counts, firewall throughput, and VPN and session scalability.

Additional Security Options:

Options include Web content filtering to control where employees surf the Internet, and Vulnerability Assessment Service, which scans, detects, and protects the network with AuditScanSM
