| Gateway AntiVirus/Intrusion Prevention Service |
Gateway AntiVirus/Intrusion Prevention Service (Gateway AV/IPS) with anti-spyware is a signature-based, integrated security service that identifies and blocks suspicious network activity and malicious code in real time. It scans e-mail and Web traffic at the gateway to block malicious threats before they can enter your network and execute their hazardous payload, providing protection from viruses, spyware, trojans, buffer overflows, SQL injections, instant messaging and P2P usage, and policy violations.
Available for all Firebox X Peak appliances, and for Firebox X Core appliances running Fireware® or Fireware® Pro advanced appliance software.
