Our engineers constantly monitor accuracy of the filters and can requeue any email in the last 48 hours meaning you don’t have to worry about lost legitimate email.
Q What’s involved in setting this up technically?
A We would configure your DNS records to redirect your emails to our multiple filters, and configure them to deliver legitimate emails to your systems. As we are offering a service, rather than an autonomous system, the whole process is handled by our experienced engineers, so that there is no risk of any lost emails during transition.The migration can usually be handled entirely between ourselves and your ISP.
Q How often do you update your spam and virus intelligence?
A Our filters retrieve intelligence on spam and viruses every hour from Barracuda Networks.
Q Is my email secure?
A Totally, as well as being at a secure guarded location, messages are segmented and not redirectable. Our only involvement can be to redeliver any messages to the original recipient. Our engineers having no visibility of its content.
Q Can I train the unit, so it can make exceptions to the normal filters?
A For a further £1 a month,an Outlook/Lotus Notes plugin can be installed that allows the user to click on a red or green button to blacklist or whitelist a message directly from their mail client.
Q My email address is ‘joebloggs@hotmail.com’ – can you help me?
A Many commercial online email systems have their own spam filters, these are of differing quality. We would recommend setting up your own domain name and mailboxes (eg joebloggs@mycompany.com), as this not only creates a company branding, but would allow us to use our spam filtering technology. Talk to our staff about options available to you.
Q What if I decide I don’t want your service after 30 days?
A Although we are confident that you will want to 'Reclaim' your inbox, should you decide for whatever reason that you wish to switch off the service – we will restore your original configuration without charge and with no interruption of your emails.
